OUR STAFF

Our teaching staff are committed to ensuring we deliver a quality educational program to your child in a safe and nurturing environment. All our teaching staff hold required teaching qualifications, as well as training in First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management. We also employ a Book-Keeper/Office Administrator at the kinder.

Loc

Loc is the 4YO Teacher and Educational Leader at Watsonia North Pre-School. She is currently on maternity leave and is expected to return in late 2020. Loc has a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and started with the Pre-School in 2010. She continues to further her skills by undergoing training to become a qualified Mentor.

 

 

Sharon

Sharon joined us in 2011 and has vast experience and knowledge working with both the 3yo and 4yo groups. She holds a Certificate III in Children’s Services and a Certificate III in Inclusion Support. Sharon’s positivity and community spirit alongside her wealth of local knowledge makes her a valuable team member. Sharon is continuing as part of our 4YO team in 2020 .

Sophie

Sophie joined Watsonia North Pre-School in 2017 as the 3YO Teacher and has since moved into the 4YO Teacher role. She has been a great addition to the teaching team, and is always determined to further her knowledge and experience. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching and is teaching the
4YO group in 2020.

Jaf

Jaf started here in 2016, having completed her Certificate III in Children's Services and is very excited to continue being part of our teaching staff in early childhood education at our Kinder; as well as currently studying for her Diploma in Children’s Services. Jaf has strong links to the community and also with our kindergarten, and will continue as our 4YO Co-Educator in 2020.

Christine

Christine began in 2013 as our Office Administrator and Book Keeper. Her children came through the kindergarten and she is known in the community. Christine will be available at the kinder in 2020 and has played a vital role in supporting the staff and Committee of Management in her work with us.

Laura

We welcome Laura to our teaching team in 2019 as the 3yo Educator. Laura comes from a background in Outdoor Education, teaching Gymbaroo, as well as experience as a primary school teacher. We look forward to learning from Laura, as well as supporting her in her new role in Early Childhood Education.

Meg

Megan joined us in 2020 and has recently completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. She is team-teaching with Laura in the 3YO group, as well as working as the teacher on a Friday in the 4YO group, in the educator role on some other days. We look forward to a wonderful year ahead with Meg.
